Q: Where is Atlee Art Loft located?
A: We're located at 9406 Charter Crossing in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Follow the stairs to the second floor and go to the end of the hallway. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see our big sun mural!

Q: What ages do you serve?
A: Our classes are designed for school-age children, typically ages 5–12. We also offer workshops and seasonal events that may include older kids, teens, or even adults!

Q: Who teaches the classes?
A: Our classes are led by Ella, a passionate artist and art education student at VCU with years of experience teaching and mentoring kids in the Kings Charter community.

Classes & Registration

Q: What types of classes do you offer?
A: We offer a variety of creative programs including after-school art classes, weekend workshops, seasonal camps, and open studio sessions. Each class explores art techniques, materials, and out-of-the-box projects.

Q: How do I sign my child up for a class?
A: Registration is available online through our website. Simply click “Book Now” to reach our scheduling and payment platform, choose your preferred session, and follow the prompts to sign up.

Q: What should my child bring to class?
A: Nothing but their imagination! We provide all materials. We do recommend sending your child in clothes they can get messy in.

Studio Policies

Q: What is your cancellation or refund policy?
A: Cancellations made at least 7 days before the session start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of a class are eligible for studio credit. No-shows are non-refundable.

Q: Can parents stay during class?
A: Our classes are designed to encourage independence and creativity, so we encourage drop-off. However, you are always welcome to speak with us about your child’s needs or visit during special events and open houses.

Open Studio & Events

Q: What is Open Studio?
A: Open Studio is a flexible time where kids can come in, choose a project, and create at their own pace with support from our staff. It’s perfect for imaginative artists who like to explore freely!

Q: Do you host birthday parties or private events?
A: Yes! We’d love to help celebrate your special occasion with a custom art experience. Please contact us for birthday party packages and availability.
